Being an introvert, I've always found comfort in simplicity and frugality. While there are people who may have associated introversion with a liking for solitude, it's often misunderstood as minimalism and spending in a careful manner. Read on as you are about to feed your eyes on my story which I wish to share with you all — the journey of an introvert who approaches spending with caution, but embraces a lavish lifestyle when necessary.

In our world today, many people believe in materialism and having in excess, but being an introvert who spends in modesty and makes it a habit can sometimes feel like going against the current norms. The social norms indicate the law of constantly indulging in the latest fashion and trends or splurging on extravagant experiences to have a fulfilling life. However, for introverts like myself, the feeling of living a simple life and being mindful of what we consume goes beyond the desire for extravagant purchases.
My approach to spending can best be explained as being selective. I pay attention to details, assess each purchase, giving thought to how necessary an item would be and its long-term value against its cost. It is not my thing to spend on unnecessary items even though it was something I have done in the past and had to learn my lesson. I make it a priority to invest in experiences or stuff that aligns with my values and bring joy and satisfaction to my life.
But here's where the twist of thrifty introvert comes into play — when I have decided to make a purchase, whether expensive or not, I don't hold back. Whether it's going for a high-quality item that will last for years or investing in an enriching experience, I am willing to spend lavishly when it truly matters. My spending takes a selective approach and has allowed me to derive satisfaction to a great extent from the purchases I made while ensuring financial prudence in the long run.
For introverts, spending money isn't just about accumulating material possessions; it's about investing in our well-being and personal growth. Whether it's taking ourselves out for a nice treat, spending quality time in nature or building ourselves creatively through tools that aid in our productivity, every purchase we make is a step taken deliberately towards self-improvement and fulfilment.
The minimalist lifestyle adopted by many introverts not only aids in financial stability but it contributes to a more sustainable future. By focusing more on quality over quantity and in a conscious manner consuming only what is needed and required, we foster a more mindful approach to living.
So, to my fellow introverts who find themselves comfortable in thriftiness and occasionally engaging in splurging, know that the way you approach spending is a reflection of your thoughts and the way you are intentional about it. Embrace selective spending habits, enjoy every bit of life and continue to build your financial future and personal fulfilment.

Here comes another time to power up $LEO tokens while increasing our power and stake in the community. Leo Power Up Day is the time we power up Leo tokens just like powering up Hive, which is done on the 15th of every month. When you power up the minimum of 150 LEO tokens, you get a Leo Badge for it and if you power up less, there won't be any badge for you. I could have powered up since morning but due to the service provider network (MTN) in my country, I could not access Hive and it's the same for Nigerians now. It wasn't until I got a new sim (Airtel) and registered that I could log in, power up and make a post. It has been frustrating from yesterday till now.

screenshot from my dashboardFor the Lpud, I powered up 160 $LEO which moves my stake to 6,346. Little by little, I shall achieve my target of 10k LP by the end of the year.
Happy Lpud to those participating/who have participated. Good luck to us all.
