Within the sublime news that gives bitcoin and cryptos every day I found the news on reuters of the 13th where the president of the European central bank is calling for the regulation of bitcoin.
It seems like a joke after the sentence dictated by the French justice confirming her guilt for negligence in a controversial payment of 400 million Euros to save the ass of a businessman the still president of the ECB wants to put doors to the field.
Lagarde called for a regulation of bitcoin and said that it had been used for money laundering activities in some cases and that it was necessary to close any loopholes.
Bitcoin has moved out of its niche in recent years, the president said, and is now bought by common people, investment funds and even large corporations. Some have even taken out loans to buy more crypto-currencies, whose value has increased almost tenfold since last March.
But its largely anonymous nature has raised concerns that it could be used for money laundering and other illegal activities.
Whenever I read this comment from the non-coiners I laugh, so before bitcoin there was nothing wrong. They basically want to criminalize it so they can control it, but they can't.
Social networks like Hive, Leo, 3speak, will tell the future of our generations that things can be done differently, with better arguments and not depending on a stupid role that does so much harm to the human being.
We should remind Lagarde and these modern-day politicians of John Perry Barlow's declaration of independence from cyberspace.
Governments of the Industrial World, you weary giants of flesh and steel, I come from Cyberspace, the new home of Mind. On behalf of the future, I ask you of the past to leave us alone. You are not welcome among us. You have no sovereignty where we gather.

You claim there are problems among us that you need to solve. You use this claim as an excuse to invade our precincts. Many of these problems don't exist. Where there are real conflicts, where there are wrongs, we will identify them and address them by our means. We are forming our own Social Contract. This governance will arise according to the conditions of our world, not yours. Our world is different.
Cyberspace consists of transactions, relationships, and thought itself, arrayed like a standing wave in the web of our communications. Ours is a world that is both everywhere and nowhere, but it is not where bodies live.
We are creating a world that all may enter without privilege or prejudice accorded by race, economic power, military force, or station of birth.
We are creating a world where anyone, anywhere may express his or her beliefs, no matter how singular, without fear of being coerced into silence or conformity.
Your legal concepts of property, expression, identity, movement, and context do not apply to us. They are all based on matter, and there is no matter here.
Our identities have no bodies, so, unlike you, we cannot obtain order by physical coercion. We believe that from ethics, enlightened self-interest, and the commonweal, our governance will emerge. Our identities may be distributed across many of your jurisdictions. The only law that all our constituent cultures would generally recognize is the Golden Rule. We hope we will be able to build our particular solutions on that basis. But we cannot accept the solutions you are attempting to impose.
In the United States, you have today created a law, the Telecommunications Reform Act, which repudiates your own Constitution and insults the dreams of Jefferson, Washington, Mill, Madison, DeToqueville, and Brandeis. These dreams must now be born anew in us.
You are terrified of your own children, since they are natives in a world where you will always be immigrants. Because you fear them, you entrust your bureaucracies with the parental responsibilities you are too cowardly to confront yourselves. In our world, all the sentiments and expressions of humanity, from the debasing to the angelic, are parts of a seamless whole, the global conversation of bits. We cannot separate the air that chokes from the air upon which wings beat.
In China, Germany, France, Russia, Singapore, Italy and the United States, you are trying to ward off the virus of liberty by erecting guard posts at the frontiers of Cyberspace. These may keep out the contagion for a small time, but they will not work in a world that will soon be blanketed in bit-bearing media.
Your increasingly obsolete information industries would perpetuate themselves by proposing laws, in America and elsewhere, that claim to own speech itself throughout the world. These laws would declare ideas to be another industrial product, no more noble than pig iron. In our world, whatever the human mind may create can be reproduced and distributed infinitely at no cost. The global conveyance of thought no longer requires your factories to accomplish.
These increasingly hostile and colonial measures place us in the same position as those previous lovers of freedom and self-determination who had to reject the authorities of distant, uninformed powers. We must declare our virtual selves immune to your sovereignty, even as we continue to consent to your rule over our bodies. We will spread ourselves across the Planet so that no one can arrest our thoughts.
We will create a civilization of the Mind in Cyberspace. May it be more humane and fair than the world your governments have made before.

Dentro de las noticias sublimes que da bitcoin y las cryptos cada día me encontrado la noticia de reuters del día 13 donde la presidenta del banco central europeo esta pidiendo la regulación de bitcoin.
Parece una broma después de la sentencia dictada por la justicia francesa confirmando su culpabilidad por negligencia en un controvertido pago de 400 millones de Euros para salvar el culo de un empresario la todavía presidenta del BCE quiera poner puertas al campo.
Lagarde pidió una regulación de bitcoin y dijo que se había utilizado para actividades de lavado de dinero en algunos casos y que era necesario cerrar cualquier laguna.
Bitcoin ha salido de su nicho en los últimos años dijo la presidenta y ahora lo compran personas comunes, fondos de inversión e incluso grandes corporaciones. Algunos incluso han obtenido préstamos para comprar más criptomonedas, cuyo valor se ha multiplicado casi por diez desde marzo pasado.
Pero su naturaleza en gran parte anónima ha generado preocupaciones de que podría usarse para lavado de dinero y otras actividades ilegales.
Siempre que leo este comentario de los no coiners me rio, osea que antes de bitcoin no había nada malo. Quieren básicamente criminalizarlo para poder controlarlo, pero no podrán.
Redes sociales como Hive, Leo, 3speak, dirán al futuro de nuestras generaciones que las cosas se pueden hacer de otra forma, con mejores argumentos y no dependiendo de un estúpido papel que tanto mal hace al ser humano.
Habría que recordarle a Lagarde y estos politicuchos de hoy en día la declaración de independencia del ciberespacio de 1996 de John Perry Barlow.

No podemos separar el aire que asfixia de aquel sobre el que las alas baten.
En China, Alemania, Francia, Rusia, Singapur, Italia y los Estados Unidos estáis intentando rechazar el virus de la libertad erigiendo puestos de guardia en las fronteras del Ciberespacio. Puede que impidan el contagio durante un pequeño tiempo, pero no funcionarán en un mundo que pronto será cubierto por los medios que transmiten bits.
Vuestras cada vez más obsoletas industrias de la información se perpetuarían a sí mismas proponiendo leyes, en América y en cualquier parte, que reclamen su posesión de la palabra por todo el mundo. Estas leyes declararían que las ideas son otro producto industrial, menos noble que el hierro oxidado. En nuestro mundo, sea lo que sea lo que la mente humana pueda crear puede ser reproducido y distribuido infinitamente sin ningún coste. El trasvase global de pensamiento ya no necesita ser realizado por vuestras fábricas. Estas medidas cada vez más hostiles y colonialistas nos colocan en la misma situación en la que estuvieron aquellos amantes de la libertad y la autodeterminación que tuvieron que luchar contra la autoridad de un poder lejano e ignorante. Debemos declarar nuestros "yo" virtuales inmunes a vuestra soberanía, aunque continuemos consintiendo vuestro poder sobre nuestros cuerpos. Nos extenderemos a través del planeta para que nadie pueda encarcelar nuestros pensamientos.
Crearemos una civilización de la Mente en el Ciberespacio. Que sea más humana y hermosa que el mundo que vuestros gobiernos han creado antes.
