Actually ,if you are doing it for LEO only then you can avoid it. I like to voting at 1% or 2% with 100x vote multiplier in leodex.
But if you are going for automated voting then it will be useful.

Interesting, was not aware I could do that. Although I have to say I really like the idea of splitting things up, makes it easier for me to follow even if it means I need an additional tab for voting on comments.
