So returned extra Hive worth more than $100
Couple of days ago, I enquired about the available options to convert my SWAP.HIVE to HIVE as I am unable to use the uswap app to convert as app interface was showing available balances as zero for me as well as in their exchange.
My another trusted swap exchange for this is beeswap as it is also charges low fees if compared to Hive-Engine "Deposit" or "Withdraw" functionality. I also learned in my comment sections that the most convenient option is to use Hive Key Chain Swap feature itself.
Anyways I used the beeswap to convert close to 800 Swap.Hive to Hive and that transaction got stucked. I rushed to their discord and posted about my transaction and I got my swap,hive refunded within 24 hours .
Since with that post , I also learned that I was seeing buggy interface of uswap app as I am not pointing to the working nodes and directing my app to working node resolved my issue.
I used uswap app to convert my swap.hive to Hive and it went smooth and I got my Hive within 5 minutes.
Yesterday, I also noticed that beeswap also sent me Hive, and they should not be sending it to me as they already refunded me swap.hive. Even with the low price of Hive, Hive amount is still worth more than $100. I contacted in discord to understand how to return it .(I do not want to return back to same account as I feared it might trigger conversion of Hive to swap.hive and I might get swap.hive in Hive Engine.)
Gerber give me the account that I should use to return the amount and I now did returned the amount of 794.834 Hive.
Once I was tempted to keep but I felt doing the right thing is always good for all parties involved.

It's good to hear that you returned it. It is tempting to take things that don't belong to you, but I don't think its worth it to destroy your reputation for it.
It is the right thing to do, and I would have done the same. Of course it's tempting to keep it as it was their mistake, but it would have bothered my conscience too much! I'm glad the uswap worked better for you, that's the one I've been using for some time now as long as the nodes are working and they have liquidity.
