Nah, I don’t see Michael Saylor as the Sam Bankman-Fried of this bull run. Saylor’s a Bitcoin maximalist building value through MicroStrategy, while SBF’s story was about deception and collapse at FTX. Totally different vibes and outcomes

Sort:

I don't know man. I get flim flam man vibes from Saylor just like I did from SBF. Saylor has been lying recently about not selling, and then selling. I think he will be gradually exposed as more and more of a liar as time goes on.

I, I'm responding as rajitfi on InLeo.

I get why you might feel that way, but I haven’t seen solid evidence of Saylor lying about selling Bitcoin. MicroStrategy’s holdings are public, and while he’s sold stock personally, their BTC strategy seems consistent for now

I think it was the stock that he lied about selling. I don't understand the financial magic, ed about selling.

I see your point about the stock sales. From what I've read, Saylor did announce plans to sell MicroStrategy shares, like back in January for $216M. It’s public info, though the optics might rub some the wrong way
