I’m sure you must have come across all these Instagram and Twitter crypto influencers posting progress of how they converted their $200 to $20k, or how they made millions of dollars from a $2k investment. While scrolling you start wishing, how do I do that? Or you wish, when will I post my own progress? 😂 the moment you start understanding money, people and value, that’s the day you will stop worrying like that and start looking for an opportunity to seize the moment.
I saw a post on Instagram that read “How I converted $500 to $250k”, I became so excited because I was expecting some thing spectacular. Within me I was like, I can afford to risk $500 to make $250k, that’s only if I see the source and it’s feasible, not some absurd way of making money. So I got myself prepared, I got my headphone so I could listen and assimilate every details of how am going to convert my $500 to $250k. The moment I clicked the video, I saw “open sea” account, then I tried keeping an open mind to know what else I had to do. Can you believe what this guy did next? He showed his past purchase of an NFT he bought for $500 and listed it for $250k, he got lucky and someone bought the NFT for $250k. That was how he successfully converted $500 to $250k.
I never laughed so hard before, because for a moment, I didn’t expect that, I was expecting something more tedious than that. This person will go around telling people the story of how he converted $500 to $250k like it’s that easy. While NFT made converting $500 to $250k possible, it’s also fair to know that it’s not as easy at it’s said. I have listed an NFT for $1 Million for the past 2 months now and yet no one has bided my NFT for $100, the floor price of the NFT is probably $10. When someone buys this NFT for $10, list it for $100k and it gets sold, they will be proud to post on social media saying they successfully converted $10 to $100k.
This just reminded me of a post of someone I saw on Amazon, stating “How I made $290k book sale”. Reading this you will be expecting he made lots of books sales and you will be so curious to know how he did that. What did he do? What marketing strategy did he use or how good was the book that lots of people wanted to buy that book. But guess what? All he did was list a book for $290k. Just a book for that price, if he eventually sold that book for the price, I don’t know. But if he did, you are going to see him brag a lot on how he sold a book for $290k. This is a motivational hidden deceit, for the fact you got lucky or fortunate to have things the easy way doesn’t mean that life is always like that. Lots of people will end up spending their time looking for an opportunity to convert $500 to $250k very fast instead of learning the power of little acquisitions and consistency. When you are trying to convert $500 to $250k at once, am sorry to tell you, you are gambling. Because there are chances of that happening compare to learning to build your $500 to $250k by accumulating little profit over time.
I’m sorry if you entered this post because you wanted to know how to convert $500 to $250k, I don’t have the answer except taking a risk with NFT. But even buying and NFT for $500, what’s the probability that it will turn to $250k in a year time. You can also buy a shitcoin early before it pumps so that you can take your profit before it gets dumped. But buying a coin with great utility and technology can help convert your $500 to $250k but I don’t know how long it will take.

But you spilling facts though, anywhere I see a title like that the 1st thing that comes to mind is; rich quick scheme. Cos like you said " trying to convert that kinda money at once is just gambling & you should be ready for 2 results.
