Chaos Legion! This is one of the names that we are not going to forget easily because this has created a lot of hype in the game. I still remember the time when the pre-sale was announced and the community was so excited to buy as much as they can. It was the time when the bull cycle was going on and people had a lot of funds to invest in the packs. It's obvious that when we have funds with us then we look for the option for the investment and that was the time when people did it a lot in the game. The voucher token was also launched at that time and its price was more than 20 hive. It is unbelievable but this is true and we can't deny it.
It's been one and half years approximately if I am not mistaken and now the time has come to say adieu to the chaos legion packs in the splinterlands shop. Although we will always have the option to buy from the open market like hive-engine it will not be available in the game shop. So there will also be no airdrop of course as all the cards are revealed already. There are approximately 83k booster packs available in the shop at the time of writing this post and I expect that the inventory is going to finish before the next weekend.
It is weekend time I think most people do some shopping during this period because they get time to spend on the platform. Just a couple of days back I was able to see the inventory of approx 150k and now it's almost half of it. There are many players at since what time to buy as much as they can before it gets out from the system. It is highly expected that once the supply is over then we can expect the price of appreciation for Chaos legion cards and packs in the market.
It is one of my favorite versions of cards I can see because most of my collection is mainly from this edition. It is because the cards are available at a low price but the abilities are quite different and powerful in the game. I have already upgraded most of my summoner cards to level 6 and planning to upgrade further this year. I am someone who always tries to upgrade a bigger chunk of cards in one go rather than doing it in parts. Maybe it can take some time for me to decide on the number of parts again but I hope that I will be able to do this next few months.
If you are still looking for the options to buy the booster pack then I would suggest not waiting anymore and just going for it. I have purchased some facts and still holding them in my game account because I do not want to open rather I will prefer to hold them for the long term. Whatever packs we have seen in the past are now available at a higher price. Untamed is the bigger example that I have to see and I have missed that opportunity but this time I don't want to miss the opportunity. I always prefer to buy cars from the market not through the packs as I don't get the opportunity to choose in case of packs.
We already have another version of booster packs in place which is called rift watchers but this is an edition with limited inventory. Even another version has already been announced but details are not shared by the team however I hope that in the next few months, they going to provide more details about the next version. Since we are in the bear market so I expect that they will be pausing before they launch a new edition. We certainly need to have the demand in the market first before being in another booster pack and I am sure that you must be growing through all these aspects to ensure that there is enough demand in the market for another bunch of booster packs.
