If I am being honest, I have not been lucky with packs openings. Which is why I sort of have given up on opening packs. But when I see and curate posts of SL players opening packs it is kind of itching my hands to just open the packs that I have at my account. I resist myself!
While sorry to see you encountered a loss with your recent purchase. But coming to think about it onw GFL would have changed the scenario out in here. Which probably makes a user to go for more. Lately, with the price of packs and the outcomes that are arriving from opening them is not really getting beneficial. Which is sort of a thing to worry. As because if that GFL does not really comes out often people are suffering a loss from opening packs. So in that regard, it's sort of best to buy cards from the market, which ones are needed for ones deck to build.
But
I have no intention to sell at the current market condition. I'll instead be upgrading my deck and trying to improve my standing.
If that can be done and as seen from the previous batch pf cards, the price does really spikes once they are out from the market. Which is packs gets sold out. And as the way its going RW packs are going out pretty fast. I want to obtain as much as possible before they gets sold out. That's one of my target as of now.
But after all, I suppose the mechanism of SL in pretty darn good. We just can't stop our self from obtaining more packs. May that it be for the airdrop of cards or may that it be for the surprises that we are to get from the packs.
Yeah the thing with buying packs/gems is that in the long run, it is almost always profitable. Don't forget that there will also be Legendary airdrops along the way and once you buy the required amount to be eligible for all drops, you can just sit back and enjoy the fruits of your labour.
Personally, I'd have been glad if I got some GF epic summoners in my packs but my luck didn't shine through. Luck is a big factor at the end of the day. In my previous 100 Rift Watcher gems opening, I got a GFL and that skewed the average but it still didn't put me in profit. Overall, the crypto market is still the most important factor
I ones that I am holding onto, I am planning to hold them. Just in case!
I see. While since you are not into selling them for now, we do have seen how profitable they becomes ones they hit ATH. I suppose all these losses will be taken care of during that time. We just need to be patient and be with SL for the time being!

I am probably going to wait to hit 1k before I go for grand opening or else I would just wait. FOr someone like me I am very impatient when it comes to opening packs but this time its sort of different I suppose ;)
I already opened over 1k chaos legion packs and now I've opened like 230 Rift Watchers to boot. I can't control myself
