Dark Energy Crystals (DEC) is the official in game currency of Splinterlands (A Play To Earn Block Chain Game that utilizes NFTs for game play). Dark Energy Crystals can be used to purchase credits and in game Splinterland assets such as booster packs that contain Five NFTs. DEC can be traded on Dex's such as Hive-Engine, TribalDex, LeoDex.

Re the new TD game: Looking forward to something I can play on the train (and/or loo)... but otherwise a TD-style game just doesn't seem to excite too much. Having said that, anything that creates demand for SPS/DEC/vouchers can only be a good thing.

I'm very curious if the staking cards in TD will be similar to the staking of cards that has been discussed for Land. Perhaps this is a way to test the idea to see the effects on people's card holdings.
It looks like they are really going to ramp up production over the next three months.
Tower defense, Soccer whitepaper, new project and then hopefully land soon after that.
Exciting times.
I have to read up on the Soccer portion. I just got back from a two month break from HIVE related stuff. It does seem like a storm is a brewing :) Exciting times indeed!

I'm excited about the new game. Biggest problem is just the time and resources required to get involved. I've already invested in several upcoming games including PsyberX, ChifiBots, and Muterra.
I'm invested in PSYBERX but haven't did much digging into the other two.
I'll buy few TD presale packs.
I think the new Tower Defense game will help stabilize or increase the value of Splinterland Assets. I will be playing the new game when it becomes available.

About the td game... I liked a lot kingdom rush game, looks similar. The question is sps getting directed to it. And Idk if would be a game that people would keep playing for a looong time, since its campaign, right? Idk. Normaly you finish the game and thats it.

In terms of the Tower Defence, I'm really looking forward to it, so much so that I wish the game play would get here a heck of a lot quicker - I love tower defence games. It will be interesting to see how the cards work between the two games, as it says you can use existing cards in some way - so that will be interesting in deed. But as said, it cant come quick enough for me !
