I think we are going to see more and more transactions like that GF Alpha Frost Giant as time goes on. I personally have been going through my deck and combining to make bronze, silver and gold league level cards to list for rent. It takes time, but I'm getting a lot more rent now and pumping that back into more card purchases. This sky high DEC price is creating a feedback loop that is just going to keep pushing the Market Cap higher.
Interesting, most my rented cards are level one or base level golds. I have plenty that are at different levels but allot of those are being used by players I have staked in the game. Viewing the rental market (to me) it looks like one can earn more from renting multiple level ones than they could when combining and then renting one card.

That's true. But for cards that have dozens of level 1 cards listed for rent, I check if there are any level 3, 4 or 5 cards and will combine some level 1's to make a card level that is missing. I hesitated doing this for a long time because I wanted to wait for Land to be released so I could use that to guide my use of cards. But this rental thing is just too hot to sit idly on the sidelines any more.
THE KRAKEN Gold Foil (which I own) was once listed fo $150,000. Now the price has dropped to $5,000. We'll eventually get back to $150,000 with NFTs getting rarer.

It seems like the tool only goes back a short amount of time and search is not very extensive.

Lol these prices getting out of hand. For new players like me it's getting harder to form a decent team. On the other hand things will become better in the near future. The moment chaos get released I hope some older cards going down in price. Still love the game. Happy splintertime
