Well I have some good news for you. The Hive Blockchain now has a spot for such content. Introducing LeoFinance Threads: this feature is still relatively new and unlike creating your traditional post, threads are for short messages only. In fact threads only allow for 240 characters. Try and go over that limit and you won't be able to use the Thread feature. The Threads feature can only be found using the Hive Blockchains frontend known as LeoFinance. What you are seeing above isn't a snippet of the thread I created. The above screenshot is the full thread in its entirety. I used exactly 240 characters in the above shared Thread. So as you can see when I said Threads were for short informative content; I wasn't pulling your strings. Thread Ideas: (1) Links to informative content (2) Glossary for your own posts (3) Sharing updates of projects (4) Sharing pictures (5) General greeting messages (6) Whatever else you can fit in 240 characters. The possiblities are endless. Please note that the information shared in my thread is now out of date. The GLX airdrop amount can now be found on the GLS site when you log in and go to the shop section. Alternatively you can click this link: https://goals.genesisleaguesports.com/. The GLX site will require an email when signing up. You can link your HIVE account using the Keychain option that is found on the Genesis League site.
The GLX airdrop is for those staking the SPS token (The Splinterlands Goverance Token). So if you are holding a pile of SPS tokens and don't plan on spending them anytime soon now might be a good time to hit that stake button (located on the official Splinterlands site within the SPS wallet section). (GLX: What is it?) GLX is the governance token for GLS (Genesis League Sports). Currently one can purchase Genesis League Sports packs for $5 per pack. Bulk purchases will bring you benefits depending on what size bulk purchase you make. Purchase 100 Packs and get a 10% bonus on your packs. Purchase 500 Packs and get a 15% bonus on your packs. Purchase 2,000 Packs and get a 20% bonus on your packs. Please note that currently purchases can be made using two types of currencies Fiat (paypal) or HIVE. If you are a big spender or investor and want to make a purchase of $100,000 or more there are special deals that can be had. It certainly is. Twitter like content was the first thought that came to mind when I first read about LeoThreads.
To the best of my knowledge there is no information out that points towards holding GLS packs earning GLX airdrops. Although I won't be surprised if a future update takes such an action.
