If you frequent the Hive Blockchain or if you are someone who enjoys Play2Earn gaming its likely you know all about Splinterlands. If you are a participant of the HIVE Blockchain but dismissed or are indifferent to Splinterlands due to your lack of desire to game; I'm here to tell you that there's more than one way to take part in the Splinterlands ecosystem / community. Gaming is certainly the main focus but there's also the trading of the many different assets such as but not limited to DEC, SPS, SPT, Gaming Packs, NFT's and Land (All can be traded on TribalDex/ Hive-Engine). What's that, you don't like trading either; no worries Splinterlands has you covered? Here it is, possibly one of the most overlooked aspect of Splinterlands. The on-going contests that Splinterlands routinely hosts for its player base and overall users of the Hive Blockchain. Since every Hive account holder has the ability to blog and many do just that, blogging about the most popular Play2Earn game hosted by the Hive Blockchain on the Hive Blockchain seems like an easy way to interact with and join the fun. Below you will find details of Splinterlands on-going contests (subject to change) that you could very easily be participating in.
(1) The Art Contest
That's right, if you enjoy creating art its possible for you to participate in Splinterlands even if trading/ gaming isn't to your interest. Currently and for a while now the Splinterlands team has hosted a *weekly art contest. In fact the contest is currently on week 322. What does this art contest require and why should you the artist join in? The contest does have some easy to follow rules such as but not limited to posting your art creation from your Hive Account, No Plagiarism, One entry per person or account per Weekly Art Contest, you will also need to link your post's URL in the comments of the official contest post. For full breakdown of the rules visit an active art contest blog post. This weeks active post is named Splinterlands Art Contest Week 322!.

(2) Splinterlands Social Media Challenge!
Another way to get involved and join the fun created by Splinterlands and its community is by doing what most of us are already doing anyways, interacting and sharing content to social media. The Splinterlands Social Media Challenge is a *weekly challenge that asks Hiven's and the Splinterland community members alike to create a Splinterlands Post on their personal Hive Blockchain account. Once created (to participate in the contest) one must share their created content on various Social Media outlets (To name a few: Twitter (X), FaceBook, YouTube, Medium). After doing so post a link to your Splinterlands blog post within the official Social Media Challenge post (Proof of sharing on other social media outlets is required, Ex. URL link to your Twitter (X) sharing). This weeks contest is close to ending but keep your eye out for next weeks. If you hurry you still have time to enter Splinterlands Social Media Challenge!

I participate in the Social media challenges from time to time. It's an awesome way to earn some valuable upvotes from the Splinterlands team and I think that these types of challenges are what we need to pump up to get the word spread more on external social media websites.
I agree, its a great contest for a multitude of reasons.
It's clear that Splinterlands has a lot of impact on Hive.
It would be hard to deny such claims.

I blog occasionally and definitely collect/trade but mostly play. I know you have some assets from way back. I wish I had kept more of the OG stuff
The core set I have the most of is Beta with less than 1000 Alpha and piles of the original reward cards. I didn't participate in Rebellion and hoarded all my CHAOS Packs. I have been thinking about re-entering the battlefield.
Good news is coming and we will see more and more interest in these projects now.
Rumor has it, something that will bring further utility to our older cards.
Thanks for the boost.
