I have no idea what that number is here in Brazil but I imagine it's much higher unfortunately. They recently changed the rules so most people will probably die before they can retire

Same for us. We are one of the developed countries but not sure how our economic future will be

When I see this in Canada I wonder what will be for us in undevelopment countries

Our problems have our own baseline. we are fucked all over the world

From a different perspective, we actually never retire, that's an illusion. We retire only when we die.

That's true but not from the financial and work life perspective.

Ye, not from that angle. But then again financial freedom is not about how much wealth u generate, it's more about whether u r part of or control d mode of production or not. What u see as money is short-sighted concept of financial freedom

Money is a tool but the financial freedom is all about being abundant with what you have. Retiring with our desi households is all about if you managed to generate wealth and transfer that to the next generation.

Yeah when U have material excess and free time, u will be called financially, that does not mean, u can be lazy, it's more about having so much time, and margin of resources to play ur life the way u wanted, to pursue ur own passion.

Exactly. Freedom means you can do whatever you want and are not bounded by rules (you know what I mean). That does not mean you become complacent. You can if you are really into vedanta and all

In my country there is no more retirement and 100% of venezuelans know they won't retire. not even the ones that were already retired. They had to go back to work.
