I'm looking at rebuilding my portfolio over the next few months. Seeing that things are about to get interesting in the altcoin market, I am interested in knowing what everyone has invested in and why.
I have Hive, Leo, Cub, and BTC already. I want to know what coins you think will be a good medium term (6 months-1 year) investment.
Now of course you are not all financial advisors and I will be doing my own research on your recommendations, but with such a diverse set of investing strategies and interests on the Hive blockchain, I thought I would see what you have to say.
The Contest:
Write a comment on this post, or a post of your own telling me what cryptocurrency you would invest $100 in if you had to hold it for between 6 months and a year. Great posts will include some background information on the coin as well as a description of the goals of the project. No bonus points for price targets, but it is always fun to theorize!
The Rules:
- Posts can be any length
- The tokens cannot be Hive, Leo, Cub or BTC
- Contest will run until this post is paid out (1 week)
- If two people shill the same coin and I invest in it, I will split the prize between them (but I will likely increase the size)
The Prize:
Whoever's coin I end up buying into will be getting either a one month 50 Leo Power delegation or a 100 Hive Power delegation, whichever they would prefer.
I am sure there will be honorable mentions as well as there are so many good coins, so I'll likely also give out smaller 1-month delegations for great recommendations.

Look I like nano and it stupid cousin bananao. Nano is near instant, capped supply and great as an movable asset between exchanges, it's slightly down as it got hit by a dust attack. BANANO is a fork of nano, started of as a joke but is growing a pretty big base, might be a good yolo because it has not hit any big markets yet.
I got some banano from an airdrop and watched it almost 3x. It's an interesting idea for meme value, but does it have any utility?

Awesome picks, I have seen both coins and briefly held LBI but made some questionable decisions with my holdings. I've seen Bro getting a lot of positive attention and I would think it is something that I want to get involved with at some point!

You can find these two coins Hive-Engine. LBI can be bought off the market or you can send your LEOs to @lbi-token and they will give you LBI. I think right now the price is 1 LBI for 1.15 LEOs.

You are likely right, but seeing that 5 years is a little less than a quarter of my life span thus far I have not gotten into that mindset just yet! Perhaps I should start thinking a bit longer term, just strange for me.

I see a lot of potential with BNB. With the hiatus from ethereum to BSC we can have significant positive price action in the next 6-12 months. So I would be stashing some BNB.

What would you say to someone who says BNB is reaching the peak of its potential? I don't believe that, I'm just curious. With such dramatic price increase is it due for pullbacks? Price target?

I'm not seeing things from a price point of view. Price go up and down all the time. However, with ethereum gas fee issues which is beginning to irritate a lot of people, many are seeking for alternative and BSC is that alternative (for now). Plus it is back by one of the most popular exchanges in the world. That holds some weight if you ask me
