It is by no means all doom and gloom. In the long run it will all look like a mere "blip".
However, this "blip" will feel different from quite a few recessions us older folks have gone through. It is not only higher interest rates we have to deal with. Governments around the world are issuing regulations left and right that are also having significant inflationary effects.
Think electric cars. Think "climate change". Think "energy".
Most economic commentators tend to ignore these government originated inflationary causes.
And without taking these into account, their respective "forecasts" will all be for nothing.
