An update about Sonar, Kujira's wallet.

Sadly, the test build of Sonar for iOS can no longer be renewed, and Android users now have only limited support. Attempts to coordinate with both platforms over recent weeks have been unsuccessful.

Sort:

Because of this, iOS access has been entirely lost, even for those who had already downloaded it. Those on Android who already have the app can continue using it, but new downloads are unavailable.

For regaining access to funds

While Station's launch is awaited, it's advised that Sonar users transition to the mobile app by using Keplr, which provides access to both Kujira and Rujira through its in-app browser.

Setting up Keplr Mobile:
To access funds, import the seed phrase used during the initial Sonar setup into Keplr.

Steps to import the seed phrase in Keplr:

  1. Open Keplr Mobile. 2) Select “Import an existing wallet.”
  2. Choose “Use recovery phrase or private key” and input the seed phrase.
  1. Add a wallet name, set a password, and proceed with the setup.

To add Kujira in Keplr:

  1. Open Keplr Mobile, click the settings icon in the top left, then “Add More Chains.”
  2. Find Kujira and select “Add to Keplr.”
  3. Return to the main screen and search for Kujira.
  1. Choose “Manage,” select Kujira, and save.

Assets on Kujira will then appear.

Upcoming Steps

The goal was for a straightforward transition from Sonar to Station, giving everyone ample time. Although the timeline was shorter than expected, there's much excitement about moving to Station!

Station isn't just a replacement; it's an upgrade. It provides freedom akin to the App Layer, bringing enhancements like real-time price updates and genuine omnichain DeFi, with full availability on both the App Store and Google Play.
