"Recap of Ukraine’s timeline for those discarding biased narratives in favor of truth:
In December 1994, Ukraine relinquished its nuclear weapons in exchange for security
assurances from major global powers. Fast forward to February 2014, when an invasion led to Crimea’s annexation while global leadership largely stood idly by—showing a weakness that fueled conflict.
By July 2019, a decision was made to delay $250 million in military aid as leverage for investigating alleged corruption.
Then in February 2022, Russia launched an attack on a fragile Ukraine, expecting a rapid fall as the capital seemed destined to capitulate.
Yet, Ukrainian resilience prevailed for over three years, costing the invader dearly and diminishing the oppressor's standing.
Since the conflict began, about $70 billion in outdated weaponry—and an extra $30+ billion in budgetary support along with $75 billion in related funds—has been funneled in, which, incidentally, has furthered the modernization drive of
domestic military hardware. Around 50,000 Ukrainian lives have been lost in defense of their nation and shared values, while top leadership in another nation questioned Zelenskyy’s democratic credentials in pursuit of financial interests.
