This week, Port Aventura, the biggest amusement park in Spain announced it will start accepting Bitcoin as payment in all its hotels starting next season becoming the first theme park resort to accept the cryptocurrency.
It seems the big test El Salvador started with accepting BTC as legal tender and implementing lightning network payments in the country is starting to take effect as Twitter added the same technology to tip users and other companies are announcing they will also accept the currency.
I am not sure how many clients will use BTC to pay for their hotel in Port Aventura but after attending last summer ETHcc in Paris and seeing the wealth in some of the parties sponsored by crypto-related businesses as Ledger or Aave I can imagine one big crypto event in the Park in the future.
The way adoption is speeding up, It is only a matter of time when almost every business will also offer this option to their clients, especially considering there are already systems as Bitpay which offer that service to any business who wants to implement BTC payments without suffering the volatility of the currency.

I am aware of the new payment methods or crypto ATMs in Spain, in fact there is a company that is very close to achieving it but it is a long way to go due to regulations, we will soon see them in airports, shopping centers and others. I think that of PortAventura is a big step because it is one of the magical places that I have attended with my family for many years, who knows, they may end up tokenizing part of their shares and we can enjoy discounts applied in the near future . One more that joins the progress.

Didn't think on that point but it is definitely an option for the future, offering tokens users could purchase trade or just get from doing several things and then exchange them for discounts in the stores or for the fast track ticket :)
