As a decentralized media lover, I keep an eye on anything landing in the social crypto space and although I tested Nostr (Notes and Other Stuff Transmitted by Relays) for the first time a couple of years ago, it was not until last week that I've been getting more and more into it, you can think of Nostr as a social decentralized protocol which integrates lightning zaps to tip content, you can go over this guide to get more knowledge on the protocol.
The first apps which appeared where clients for the social network as a way to "compete" with centralized Twitter, since then, more and more apps keep pumping up. You can get an idea of the amount of innovation taking place on Nostr taking a look at the zapstore and browsing through all the apps developed there.
You can try some of the apps which will let you login with a lightning address or create one for you if you need to get one. I suggest fountain.fm where you can share, discover and support over 4 million podcasts and emerging artists and get rewards for doing so in some of them.
Yesterday I decided to test Plebeian Market and create an online store based on Nostr. I am sharing you here how I did in the event anyone wants to take a look and offer his/her products for lightning sats here on hive, now that we can exchange Hive for sats using V4V App
First of all, I created image files for a logo, a label and a 500ml image with LMArena using imgage generator and nano-banana agent
I used one of my lightning accounts to login and create the store with alpha version of Plebeian Market. You can easily create a lightning address using an app such as Rizful and link the public address to an easy to remember rizful.com domain.

Next Friday I plan to attend a Bitcoin event in town to get to know one of the local communities around BTC. I've heard some users offer their products there, so I can't wait to get their insight while having some beers :)
