Continuous Alpha
Many Crypto enthusiasts are enjoying the gains of ChainLink, Solana, and others. However, when compared to the alpha that occurs within the micro-cap sector, these gains become almost insignificant. Gaining early exposure to a micro-cap that performs exceptionally well will ruin you forever. Once you have experienced 50X, 100X, 300X and higher… you can never settle for benchmark returns again.
Yes, you will still have exposure to blue chips and other prominent projects. However, altcoin hunting within the micro-cap sector, deep below the radar will become an unavoidable fascination. For the most part, my altcoin picks tend to be within the micro-cap sector. Projects that still have rather insignificant market cap valuations, but simultaneously offer tremendous value in the form of use cases and innovation.
To date, many altcoin picks published on the official Sapphire Crypto blog have secured thousands of percent in gains over the past 4 to 6 months. Projects such as BONK, Taraxa, and others. Anyone who entered a BONK position on the day I published it as an altcoin pick would have experienced a 50X (5000%) return within 6 weeks. The data is there, and verifiable. The money is made in this market by identifying alpha before even the astute.
Today, I will be addressing two micro-caps that I introduced readers to in the final weeks of 2023. Both of these projects have just recently exploded and have been trending on CoinGecko over the past few days. Seeing price action like this is always a real encouragement for me, as I spend endless hours researching altcoins and micro-caps. So, without any further ado, let’s jump right in!
Delysium
Gaming and AI are currently two very hot narratives, and this is exactly where Delysium (AGI) enters the game. My original publication addressing Delysium as an altcoin pick was on the 18th of December 2023. At the time of writing, Delysium was trading at approximately $0.04 and was very much still under the radar. However, things seem to have changed almost overnight. The past week has been incredible for AGI.
Delysium recently topped out at approximately $0.29, which is more than 600% in only a matter of weeks. I must admit, apart from an initial pop, AGI was a little slow to respond, at least according to my initial expectations. That’s the thing, you never know when a project is going to respond. The best is to gain your conviction, deploy your capital, and let the market do its job.
Pangolin
The second pick is the Avalanche-based DEX, Pangolin, which has just skyrocketed over the past few days. This micro-cap gem was published along with a few other ideas in the article entitled, ++“Calculated Moves & The Layer 1 Effect”++. This was during the final days of Novemeber. This truly is an impressive-looking chart. PNG has exploded by 3400% since I published it back in November.
Interestingly, the majority of this move has unfolded within a matter days. Very impressive indeed! You have to be willing to wait with micro-caps. Unlike other altcoins, they are yet to be discovered. Unfortunately, people are still determining when or if that will be. However, quality has a way of eventually coming to light. Then again, 3 months isn’t exactly a wait, especially if the return is 3400%.
Final Thoughts
As altcoin and micro-cap investors, we have a tendency to become spoilt. We become too familiar, and sometimes just need a reminder of what a privilege it is just to be in this space. Especially, since the majority of society is still rather ignorant. The average Crypto investor is exposed to BTC, ETH, and a handful of other well-known alts. They have no clue as to what happens in the altcoin forest…
