Big news of this past week was the DHF proposal to do mass marketing for leofinance/hive.

The proposal has just passed 15M in hive power so it is 63% of the way there as 23.4M is the threshold to get a green light for funding.
Onboarding and user engagement
For instance, when a new account reaches $10 in value they will get pop ups for short tutorials to learn how LEO and the Hive Blockchain works. Users will be rewarded with $10 for completing such tutorials.

LeoInfra is as secure as google authenticator, essentially. At the end of the day though, self custody is the safest play and pushing tutorials to get people familiar with it is a win in the end.
What makes Leo's DHF proposal different?
It isn't asking for DEV funds, operating funds or anything that isn't direct spend on marketing. In fact the back end work the leo team does to spend the marketing $$$ is still being self funded by Leofinance.
9,600 or bust
If the goal of 9,600 users is not hit in the designated timeline, leofinance is going to refund the entire 200K from the DHF (assuming it gets funded).
Other Updates...
The UI is getting prepped for another big upgrade with LeoCache getting improved once again that will enable a bunch of features turned on, such as a much improved trending feed due to a new algorithm. going live.
This change will hit threads first and then likely get pushed to long form once the kinks are worked out.
The updated LeoCache will also enable the full search capabilities, as in you will be able to search keywords from a post and actually have it be found.
