Am I the only one who is inspired by people I don't necessarily like or agree with?
I think some people have 2 or 3 amazing traits worth learning from, and the rest of their personality is kind of shit. Why wouldn't I still try to learn from them?

I doubt you're the only one being inspired by those who you disagree with. One thing is that, when we disagree with people, we hear their thoughts which in some way inspire us to make our own decisions.
Yeah, there is always something to learn from those we meet, we take the good and leave the bad, value added. 😊

When you mean people you know personally, that's more painful. There are a few on Hive who I don't want to meet anymore because I think their ideas are cruel.
