RE: Leo Talk 4/11/2021 -Come Join Our Chat

I wonder what is going on with the LEOM and LEOMM tokens. Their up, their down, they can't decide where to settle for a bit.

I was thinking that maybe people were selling to invest in $CUB, but not sure about that either. Just wondering if anyone had thoughts.

Sort:

I must be the only one still buying little bits and pieces. Not much action going on there.

Buy it , it will be worth it according to me , not a financial advice though lol .

How much do you have so far?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Not as much as I used to, before I had to sell when things got tough finacially. I had gotten a bunch cheap back when LEO was $0.03 but had to jettison them. I have 17 regulars and 3 megas. I purchase little bits here and there.

There are many who buy what they can, when they can.

It is a smart move to keep adding, however you acquire it.

I think part of the problem is that Hive keeps moving around so much. Every time Hive goes up, buying them gets "cheaper" in Hive and when it goes down, selling them to Hive gets you more Hive. There are probably some smart people with enough time on their hands to pay attention, taking advantage of the arbitrage (for lack of a better word) being created. Just a guess though...

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That is also true. The price of Hive affects the price of LEO, at least on HE. Of course, there is bLEO and wLEO which help to offset that, or should.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yes but I think the APR will naturally correct so that bLEO, wLEO and CUB should be close to each other. If it isn't, there should naturally be people adding in on the other fronts to get more returns.

They don't "add in", they arbitrage. When Hive spiked, Edicted sold his Cub for bleo at say 1.00, moved bleo to leo, sold the Leo for 1.5 hive before the orders changed, then sold the hive for busd or bnb, then moved it back and bought Cub. I think he said he made like $400+ and bought back around 130 more Cub than he started with. So, you are correct that bleo, wleo, and leo should all remain close to each other but it is BECAUSE of actions like this that that is the case.

It is the same for any crypto on any exchange but the fact that Leo is not very liquid on H-E makes those opportunities more prevalent.

Yea the liquidity on HE is fairly bad. I think the early people might get a bit lucky with the diesel pools creating a buy or sell wall.

Arbitrage isn't the right word I suppose , it is the market maker making money for them . It is just a simple buy low sell high concept but the price ( for low and high ) is determined by Hive price and not the token price as you mentioned.

I am thinking that the lack of communication is having an impact upon things. Leofinance was known for keeping everyone in the circle in terms of what was happening. Now there is only silence. We see a couple things on Twitter and that is all.

My guess is it is affecting the movtivation for both LEO and the miners.

That is just my speculation though.

Yes I agree. A lot of people are asking wen blank or wen bridge and etc. I just want them to keep people in to loop for how things are going. Also HIVE seems like it might be ready for another pump (range traded for a while) so they might be trying to hold liquid HIVE.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That could be (the part about Hive) although I dont see much of it. Each post I see related to it, it is the other way. People seem to be shedding Hive for Leo or Cub.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yea it is weird. I wonder if some people are trying to get in early and moving out their HIVE to their wallet. I saw that some people couldn't get out with the LeoDex withdrawal since others front-run them.

True, in fact nothing more has been said about the microblogging platform, we don't know how it's going or when the platform will be launched. They are too quiet lately and they shouldn't be, they should be in constant contact with the community.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That is what most people conclude. Without knowing, they presume it is dead.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Communication is vital and a lot of us have experienced what lack of leadership and communication got us before. I'm sure there is some truth in that speculation..

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It is the out of sight, out of mind.

If the team is not constantly updating, people believe the project is dead. Accurate or not, that is what people believe.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yeah, you are right. Constant updates makes people feel "safe". Less communication makes people nervous and anxious.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

LEOMM is way too overpriced to be honest , lack of calculations is the reason people still buying it according to me .

LEOM on the other hand is a great buy .

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I am thinking about buying some LEOM if they get cheaper to be honest . I believe in LEO and I like miners .

LEOMM on the other hand is overpriced right now actually.
