Both are not perfect I would say, to get a really quick evaluation the hp vs Join date is really easy. For a more detailed evaluation, the KE Ration is probably better but it takes longer to check and it excludes delegation for as far as I know. It would really be nice if these things got integrated into the front ends and there to be a general knowledge giving a stamp to all the blatant extractors. So many still that get very high upvotes by curation initiatives who only really hurt the Hive price and give nothing back.

yes there's no perfect system, I can agree to that. However, I feel to have a sustainable ecosystem and looking for long-term to prevent issues like you said about the blatant extractors, KE Ratio is a better evaluation as it's taking in more factors and I think it's a system that can still be improved upon. What we are seeing now is just the beginning.

Activity needs to be measured as well. I just don't find join date to be a good evaluation because there are some people here that came from splinterlands. For example, I am one of them. My join date is Jan 2022 because that's when my hive account was created for my Splinterlands. i actually never interacted with the blog side of Hive until maybe Dec2022 if I'm not mistaken and probably didn't actively post until feb/april 2023 hence the hp vs join date can be quite flawed in this case.

I know everyone likes things fast and easy now especially in our current times aka super short low attention videos (tiktok) but I don't think it's the way. Let's put some more effort into making a better system yeah.

Who knows maybe they will incorporate a way to factor in join date to the ke ratio as long as it was a fair measurement, I wouldn't mind.

oh and with ai and coding. this can easily be fixed and improved over time. the speed to check. If I'm not wrong
