RE: Change, disruption, disintermediation, can you keep up?

Perhaps my explanation is insufficient, I have re-edited the post to clarify.

In regards to Atomic Swaps, many have tried, but failed, so in a sense it is the long sought after answer to a few, but significant problems, and it’s solution opens a door to a new reality with new possibilities we will create after walking into that realm.

If indeed it is accomplished it would represent a step forward in security and freedom to trade without surrendering your tokens to an intermediate, and to be limited by the availability of this intermediate, and to risk loss of your original token with resultant valuelessness of the wrapped token.

These things keep Bitcoin holders up at night. Why we all desire wealth, once attained you must protect it. And even those who are not wealthy, often fall prey to those who occupation is not creating or earning wealth, but instead taking through nefarious means, the wealth of others.
