Same here, safety over speed every time :)
I always test with a tiny swap on Base then scale and set custom spend limits so a DEX cant drain the WAllet.
These small steps keeps me calm, and in control, even when the hype gets loud.
I also stick to official portals and double-check token addresses on Basescan before any move.
These precautions are very wise, and will save you more then you will realize.
yep, totally agree. those habits feel slow at first, but they prevent the big mistakes and it save fees too. i'm sticking to official portals, checking the contract' address on basescan, and doing a tiny test swap before sizing up. also no SUrge or LSTR bridge yet, so better to wait than risk a fake one :)
