I certainly understand where you are coming from with your comments on various barriers to entry that face the hive ecosystem, but as a user of multiple blockchains and such, I honestly think that HIVE has one of the most intuitive wallets for interacting that handles some of the things you noted automatically. One question I have is do you currently use Hive Keychain?
Hive keychain does remove the complexity of some of the things you mentioned, such as needing to manage the use of multiple keys for different reasons or registering an inital user. Plus it is available as an extension for pretty much every major browser, so there is a bit of familiarity with interacting with webpages using a browser extension for many users.
While improvements definitely can be made on many fronts (especially documentation), I think Hive has come a long long way in recent times and I am excited for how it will continue to improve!

Of course, I am using Hive Keychain since it was released! I mentioned that problem because not everyone knows there is such an extension.
I agree, Hive has promising future.
