Other than in currency and as an investment medium (coins and bullion), silver is used in solar panels, water filtration, jewelry, ornaments, high-value tableware and utensils (hence the term silverware), in electrical contacts and conductors, in specialized mirrors, window coatings, in catalysis of chemical reactions, as a colorant in stained glass and in specialized confectionery. Its compounds are used in photographic and X-ray film. ENGAGEtokens.What's amazing to me is that there is only what there is; in other words, it is natural and cannot be man made. So much silver is thrown out in cell phones, computer hardware and whatnot. There are recycle places to take things like this, but I'm thinking a lot of it ends up unreclaimed in landfills.
Silver will one day run out........
