The Cook Islands Silver Bounty

For several years since 2015, the design of this coin has been plain.
In 2018, the design changed to feature a "net" like design in the field that adds dimension to the coin. I thought that it was a good addition to the coin.

This side depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley likeness of Elizabeth II.

I don't know if I missed it, but I didn't see the 2019 version. It makes me wonder if they discontinued the coin! So if you happen to have seen the 2019, let me know!

The Cook Islands Silver Bounty coins are known from the legendary novel '"Mutiny on the Bounty". It displays the weight, purity, and face value below an image of the sailing vessel Bounty.

Cool, I just got this beauty too but I don't know how to write this up yet. Most people know the story. There have been are at least 3 full featured movies of it. But I am very happy to get this coin at spot plus shipping from a Silver Pourer.

Says 2017 on the obverse Sis.
The portrayal of the Bounty is different being at Seagull eye's view as if the viewer was sizing up the ship before coming in for a landing. I got this from Reckless Metals when he was liquidating some of his silver for cash. Most of his sales were melt silver for his art work. I rescued the US Constitution silver round (left) also from the fate of the furnace.
So now I finally have this special round as well.

I like the old sailing ships with all of the sails. The netting look they put on it does add a dimension to the coin. Very nice and a great addition to any stack. Thanks for sharing sis!💕🌸🤗
