I did convert enough OSMO back to ATOM to cover my initial ATOM.
So my ATOM holdings are still the same but now I take all my OSMO and stake it.
I have been staking ATOM for about 18 months and personally feel if a blockchain doesn't support IBC in the next 2 years they will be left behind.
I am always amazed as the so called "blockchain" "crypto" experts that have no idea about tendermint and cosmos.

I was a bit late to the Cosmos eco-system, really only paying attention to it this year. Currently, I have ATOM in several pools on Osmosis, and am looking to start staking some for the long term. Sadly also looking at fairly empty fiat bank accounts, so I'll have to build it up bit by bit from crypto income.
I really think that many Cosmos chains are likely to significantly outperform the market over the remainder of the year.
Thanks for the comment,
JK.

Well I will continue to use my accounts to upvote you to help with some of your crypto earnings.
I use earnings from the chain not to be mentioned (STEEM) to purchase ATOM.
On Hive I just power everything up.

Appreciate it. I made the treasonous move and shifted all my assets off Cub and into AKT, ATOM and OSMO, and am using my current HIVE and LEO income to rebuild my CUB investments from scratch. Don't tell Khal. ;)

Staking Atom can be done through your wallet. If you self custody, Keplr (a browser extension like Metamask) or Cosmostation (a mobile app wallet). Staking pays around 7% APR, so its boring but safe. Many major exchanges also have Staking options for ATOM, but as usual you are trusting a Cex with your money.
To add to a liquidity pool, you would need the Keplr wallet, and connect to Osmosis. As to what pools, the ATOM/AKT is my favourite. I have a big AKT holding, and it's price has been relativaly stable lately, as has ATOM. Less IL risk than an OSMO pool I think, and still nice APR.
Staking returns should increase over time, as some revenue from Gravity Dex and other Cosmos Hub activities will flow to staked ATOM's.
