I see nothing but potential and growth in the long term no matter how much news, governments or people try and trash talk crypto.
This can’t be emphasized strongly enough. Simple having a couple of dollars worth of virtually any cryptocurrency right now will most likely yield some form of profit in a few years.
I’m still seeing moon dust growing in old wallets I had back when I first started dabbling.
What was a dollar here or a few cents there is now a tank of gas, or a meal at a decent restaurant.
Simply writing a good introduction post on Hive, swapping the proceeds for something popular (like BTC) on Hive Engine/TribalDex, and waiting anywhere from a few weeks or months to years will yield a significant growth in value (in terms of percentages, anyway).
It takes minimal research to see which projects are serious and likely to achieve something worthwhile over time, and there are already virtually endless opportunities to get involved in for as little as pennies, if that’s all one can afford to budget.
The crypto/blockchain space as a whole is a boom town. All anyone needs to do is hang out, pay the absolute minimum amount of attention, sprinkle a few pennies or nickels around, and nurture whatever sprouts up.
But what’s even more significant than the financial opportunities are the opportunities to grow personally.
After only beginning to really play with this stuff in the last year or so I’ve already learned a wealth of knowledge pertaining to finance, technology, economics (both at home and abroad), markets and trends, and a host of other things I don’t even know I’ve learned yet.
This tech does more than empower us financially. It empowers us across the board. It gives us the power to take back control that has been usurped by institutions, be it gods, governments, or corporations, and offers us a way to protect ourselves from them going forward.
I don’t think there’s any perspective one can look at this and not be able to make a clear parallel to Promethean Fire.
Lord Nakamoto was wise to remain anonymous and hidden. We’ve seen what happens to those who side with the humans in defiance of the gods.
