GI Joe and Transformers are finally crossing over in an animated series but theres a catch, its based on Robert Kirkmans Energon Universe comics not the live action movies, Joe Henderson from Lucifer is showrunning and they are shopping it to buyers right now, the show is described as adult animation like Invincible which makes sense given Kirkmans involved, the Energon Universe comics have sold over 7 million books so theres definitely an audience for this, Skybound launched these comics after IDW lost the Transformers license and now they are bringing Autobots Decepticons and Cobra to the same screen, might hit TV before that stalled crossover movie ever happens.
