The Witcher season 4 is getting review bombed hard and showrunner Lauren Hissrich is defending those controversial deaths that were not in the books, Liam Hemsworth took over as Geralt from Henry Cavill and that alone pissed people off but now fans are mad cause characters like Vesemir, Keira Metz, Istredd and Margarita all died when they are still alive in the source material, Hissrich explained that sometimes actors are not available cause of scheduling conflicts so they have to write characters off or kill them, the Vesemir death was supposed to push Geralt forward emotionally and Margarita dying was meant to make Yennefer even more angry at Vilgefortz, makes sense from a storytelling perspective but book fans are not having it, season is sitting at lower scores than previous seasons on RT and the review bombing is real.
