HBO officially won the premium TV war after 43 years and Showtime is basically done, Paramount just dropped the Showtime name from their streaming tier and now its just called Paramount Plus Premium which is brutal, Showtime only has two upcoming scripted shows while HBO is still dominating with Game of Thrones and White Lotus type hits, the network even reversed the Dexter Original Sin season 2 renewal decision, HBO Max brought back the HBO name because it still has power but Showtime got absorbed and diluted into nothing, FX is still fighting hard but Showtime lost this battle bad.
