There is always first mover advantage, and “lottery”. Either you have it already or you don’t.
If you have it before everyone else you capture the most value, thereafter due to continued increase in supply the incremental value gets diminished.
Like learning something for the purpose of making money when it’s proven to make money, won’t make you money. If this makes sense. 😉

Yes, it makes sense and I agree. This is the problem with most people investing, they don't have a first-mover mindset, but they have the expectations that they will get above average returns, while doing what the average do. Technically, they get below average, because the few at the top skew the data.
