RE: Open Source Training Ground

Terraria > Minecraft. Just saying. LoL. Minecraft never hit me the right way, something about it I just didn't like. Valheim hit a chord with me, but I fell off with that one pretty quick too..
Voxel style is cool when it hits that higher smoothe resolution, something like Pokemon quest! I recently came across the glitch game ( https://glitchthegame.com ) which gave away all their assets... https://opengameart.org/content/glitch-inhabitants-and-cubimals-svg is my favorite so far, but the rest are here : https://opengameart.org/content/glitch-svgs

wonder if they can fit into your game idea and we can make it happen sooner. Lots of free resources and assets, just need engineers to assemble the pieces.

Terraria looks very cool.

Minecraft loses a lot by adding that 3rd dimension.
Also the automation aspects seem kinda lame/pointless so far.
I still think Factorio is superior; especially in the context of training devs.

Meh we have a lot of work to do, don't know anything about so many games/tech out there.
