What a difference a week makes.
Last week I posted about mining BTC on my gaming PC. I asked if it was worth doing it for $0.30 a day! I posted my daily earning, ranging from .30-.60 cents in the post.
This week you can see the same setup is now making me over $1 dollar a day. I did not change the PC. I did change anything. Only time has past, and BTC is trading at 27K-5$28K leading up to April First.
This is not a JOKE. Read the last week's POST here: March24BTC. Notice how the Screenshots look the same, but the earning from the previous week was much lower.
At $1 per dollar, is it worth it? In my case, my GAMING PC is about 2 years old. I do have multiple PCS, but they are both old. I don't run any newer-generation GPU on these machines. I have kids with a GAMING PC, and when they are not using it, I like to turn on the MINER that earns me BTC.
Will this make me RICH? No. I'm not running a MINING Farm. It is only $1 a day and might drop back to 0.25!! But it might be enough for me to move into other Splinterlands Assets.

As an investor, I like to share what I make weekly in dividends. This week is about $80, or over 10X more than I make in mining BTC. If I was excited about FREE BTC, then PASSIVE INCOME is even better. I rather "share" this because most people can understand it.
Making $1000 monthly is NOT a JOKE (average over the YEAR).

Now Options Trading is full of risk. I was doing week going into WEEK $13. However, with 4 up weeks in the LAST 5 weeks, I might be LOSING money soon. The markets are moving TOO FAST in ONE direction!
I can end the year LOSING money or MAKING 24K this year. We are entering Q2 of 2023, and there is plenty of time to MAKE or LOSE money.

Why did it change that much?
BTC was only up 10-15% I think, not 50%!
Some of it was related to the Increase value of BTC.
The rest, I don't know since I just displaying what the tool is showing me at the time. I don't think in FIAT, but If I can get 0.0001 BTC, that I will stack the few dollars of BTC when I can.
This is so interesting to know.
I would think mining was good from 2009-2018 (or so).

However, since Sept 2022, mining has dropped in value because ETH moved from PoW to PoS.
I don't recommend buying ASIC unless you are a professional miner.
Next is beware that MINERS can be risky.
There can be "Keylogger" or Virus with some of this software.
Because of that, I can't recommend or suggest how to do this.
There are millions of YouTube Videos on how to mine using your Gaming PC's GPU.
