when I started in the blockhain I come from steemit, I have two and a half years in community I used to follow those who had high reputation, by that time 70 I think was the highest.
Their reputation level indicated me that they were old and had experience in the ecosystem, today is very common to see this level of reputation between 70 and 75, but it always gives joy to go up.
I recently found out that it can also be lowered, a person told me that in the old chain they lowered her reputation by 6 points, she did not know how to place the source of the images and that mistake cost her several points. I was surprised, I didn't know that could happen. @taskmaster4450
Downvotes will lower the reputation score. It works in reverse too. That is why many of the spammers, they can go negative with their reputation score.
