Welcome to this weeks update from the @spinvest-leo account. This wallet manages a small portion of the overall @spinvest fund, and sends HIVE back to @spinvest each week to contribute to the pool of funds for dividends. This wallet is managed by @jk6276. The main focus of this account is to generate yield to contribute to the weekly dividends for holders of SPI tokens. 50% of the income generated each week is sent to @spinvest to contribute to the weekly dividend. Primary holdings are positions in SPS liquidity pools, other BeeSwap pools, along with some Hive engine based investments.
Position changes this week:
Just minor changes this week. I continue to compound half of each days earnings (after taking out the profit share funds to the HIVE wallet) into the BXT pool, to rebuild it. The other half (roughly) goes in to whichever of the main three pools is lower value each day. For the first time in ages, this has mainly been the SPS pool this week (with a bit going into the SIM pool). This is a big change, as SPS has been strong for us over the last month or two, but is off the boil lately.
I also use a little leftover swap.hive each day to buy a little more LEO, just slowly rebuilding that position without spending a lot. Any HP we have is delegated to @leo.voter, and then the LEO stake gets delegated to @meowcurator for passive yield. It's not a lot yet, but slow and steady growth. We popped over 300 LEO this week, and will grow past 500 before you know it.
In the coming week, I plan to stop including the BXT earned from the pools in the income each day. Similar to LEO, I will instead simply stake it to build the position, slow and steady over the long run.
I'm eyeing off the SPS/DEC pool, thinking on how to build into that one also.

Commentary:
Overall, I see this week as quite positive for this wallet. Hive is down, SPS is down, BXT is down, but we still managed to send a nice chunk of HIVE to @spinvest for the weekly dividends. The star performer this week is obviously ZING - with the LP value defying gravity (high APR is like gravity for an LP - its nice but will eventually bring the price down). The strength of ETH also helped us stay solid, with the SPS/ETH pool rising in value despite SPS's drop.
Everything else is just chugging away, and doing what it is meant to do.
I do expect the yield from ZING pool to drop, currently we are making around 11 HIVE per day from it. SPS is the key really for our income prospects - the yield generated in the SPS pools has dropped from 10-11 HIVE per day down to around 7-8. This is mostly due to the cool down in price, rather than APR's dropping. If SPS can regain recent highs, we will be sitting pretty.
