Spinvest-leo weekly update post - 30 March 2024

in LeoFinancelast month

Welcome to this weeks update from the @spinvest-leo account. This wallet manages a small portion of the overall @spinvest fund, and sends HIVE back to @spinvest each week to contribute to the pool of funds for dividends. This wallet is managed by @jk6276. The main focus of this account is to generate yield to contribute to the weekly dividends for holders of SPI tokens. 50% of the income generated each week is sent to @spinvest to contribute to the weekly dividend. Primary holdings are positions in SPS liquidity pools, other BeeSwap pools, along with some Hive engine based investments. We have also moved into the Cosmos, with an initial position of some staked DYM (Dymension) plus some liquidity pools on that new platform.

Position changes this week:

Lots of change this week.

  • Following discussions with SSUK, we are halting sending funds back to @spinvest for the weekly dividends. These amounts had declined and become minor in the scheme of SPI, and so this wallet will move to 100% compound mode for a while.

  • SPS/ETH pool closed. This pool has been exited and all funds moved over to the Dymension blockchain.

  • SPS/HIVE pool closed. I moved the SPS portion into Splinterlands and staked it. The HIVE portion was then swapped over to Dymension also.

  • ZING/HIVE pool closed. All funds here moved to Dymension.

  • I doubled the DYM stake to 200 staked $DYM. This gives this position a decent size overall, and best positions us to benefit from airdrops from projects launching on Dymension.

  • I have increased the position in the DYM/stTIA and DYM/ATOM pools to around $1000 value in each.

  • I changed my mind on compounding into the DYM/stDYM pool, and closed this.

  • I have established a starting stake of ATOM, and will compound all LP rewards from the above pools into building an ATOM stake.

Current holdings:

  • SPS/HIVE pool - $0 - closed

  • SPS/ETH pool - $0 - closed

  • SPS Staked - $865 - up $176 - added funds

  • SIM/HIVE pool - $513 - up $63

  • ZING/HIVE pool - $0 - closed

  • Staked BXT - $914 - up $150

  • Staked LEO - $56 - up $12

  • HIVE Power - $401 - up $41

  • DYM/stTIA - $1039 - up $657 - added funds

  • DYM/ATOM - $1021 - up $644 - added funds

  • DYM/stDYM - $0 - closed

  • ATOM stake - $65 - new position - added funds

  • DYM stake - $1242 - up $690 - added funds

Asset exposure

Using the above values, and splitting pool positions into their components, we can calculate the total exposure to each asset for this wallet.

  • SPS - $865 - 14.14%

  • ETH - $0 - 0%

  • HIVE - $658 - 10.75%

  • SIM - $257 - 4.19%

  • BXT - $914 - 14.94%

  • ZING - $0 - 0%

  • LEO - $56 - 0.92%

  • DYM - $2272 - 37.15%

  • stTIA - $520 - 8.49%

  • ATOM - $576 - 9.41%

Commentary:

Significant changes this week. I have yet to decide whether to retain the remaining SPS staked for the long term. The BXT position is fine, it gives some regular daily HIVE income. Likewise the SIM/HIVE pool. The mix of holdings is fairly evenly split between Cosmos and HIVE, currently 55:45 basically. I think that I won't move any more funds over, and just compound HIVE income into more HIVE assets (currently the SIM pool and a little LEO) and Cosmos income into more Cosmos assets (currently building ATOM stake).

For those playing at home, currently we have 200 $DYM staked, and 5.2 $ATOM
Wallet addresses are as follows:

Totals and conclusion:

  • Total asset value last week: $5,555

  • Total asset value this week: $6,116

  • Weekly gain/loss: up $561

  • HIVE ecosystem portion: $2749 - 44.95%
    *COSMOS ecosystem portion $3367 - 55.05%

0 HIVE sent to @spinvest for weekly dividends. Pause on sending to 100% compound for higher growth (hopefully 🤣 )

Thanks for taking the time to read our weekly update. If you would like to learn more about @spinvest, and the $SPI token, check out the main account and review the weekly update post.
