i've seen many art museums while living in Amsterdam, and not many museums match that kind of collections,
these days it's often easier to see the collections online then actually visit a museum. there was one museum NINT in Amsterdam where i loved to spend my time it was all about technology. they moved and got a new name today it's called : https://www.nemosciencemuseum.nl/en/
I guess my answer is... sometimes. Haven't been to one in a while, though. As in a few years. I think the last one I visited was the Automobile Museum in Athens.
All kinds. From very old to newer generations. Different generations of racing cars. I didn't even recognize the makes of the cars from the start of the century. Luckily there was a description.

I would have needed to read each one because I have no idea about cars LOL
I'm not much of an expert either. But makes for common makes even these days I recognize.
