Fiat is designed to eventually fail.
It’s like a very stretched and long tailed Ponzi scheme.
But what can replace fiat? Can we go back to the gold standard? Maybe, based on countries buying up lots of gold we might be headed that way.
But, will we actually be exchanging gold metals? Or will there be a government gold backed centralized crypto?
I have a very bipolar relationship with metals these days. One second I’m ready to press the buy button and order a bunch of gold and silver. But sometimes I’m thinking about saving for rental properties, growth stocks, or dividend stocks.
Obviously crypto is where all the opportunity is, but I’m into the diversification mindset. Which doesn’t mean “buy more crypto” it means buy not crypto and let it grow.
But, I still keep an eye on the metal prices waiting for a capitulation dip in order to load up on my shiny coins. :)

Yeah, I don't know, Staker Stacker - @ssjsasha, but, Rental Property could be a lot of work. Stock market can be played, for fun, with just a little fiat, cryptos, too. But, when the Precious Metal makes its move, many Stackers, are going to say, “damn, that was easy!” And some will say, “and it was fun, too”.
The trick to rental property is to get an expensive building and charge high rent. People who pay high rent are usually more classy and cause less trouble and hassle.
An example of this, go sit in a McDonald’s and look at their customers, then go sit in a Starbucks and look at their customers. Very different class of people.
