I dream of leaving the country, but I don't dream of using my crypto earnings to leave the country. I would love to do that based on a skill or a job I have acquired. Presently, I am working towards that and paying the sacrifice for it (even though it cost me to be a little inactive on Hive). It is all for a better dream.
Using crypto to survive out there is a damn risk I cannot take. One of the reasons I may choose to live in Nigeria and only go abroad only for vacations is if I am able to work for companies abroad and earn $$$ in Nigeria.
The truth is that there are places in Nigeria that have good healthcare, which may not be as great as that outside the country but at least fair to some extent, but they don't come cheap to the common man. so having a good job, and good crypto-backed savings can make one live that dream life abroad easier while still in Nigeria.
You're spot on bro, the reality is that crypto excels more when you take profits to set up real life investment. However selling it off in hope to secure a better dream is something I won't do. I don't even think anyone should be selling off all their crypto if it's not for a tangible venture that is certain to yield profit..
I certainly would move to abroad, maybe in the future. but not at the expense of anything, building a steady and solid plan that's backed up is necessary
