How to link your account to your ledger device
If you already know your Hive login, you may use your ledger device to safeguard it by changing all of your keys to the ones generated by it.

In the example below, we'll link the device to an existing account called test.ledger. You'll need the current owner's private key in WIF format, which Hive supports.

Connect your smartphone, unlock it, then launch the Hive app.

To begin the procedure, click Associate existing account card.
To discover a new, unused public key that might be used to replace your existing owner key, click Request new key.
On your smartphone, double-check the key. To inspect the key, use the left and right buttons to navigate. Check to see whether it's the same as the one on your terminal.
Press both buttons on the "Approve" screen to confirm the public key.
To go to the next step, click Continue.
In WIF format, provide your login and current private owner key.
To go to the next stage, click "Continue."
Make a list of all the important jobs you'd like to replace. We propose updating all of the roles if you want to establish a cold storage wallet.
Update your account by clicking the button.
