RE: Why is PolyCUB Rising? Investors Now Have More Reasons to Invest in PolyCUB.

in LeoFinance2 years ago

Nice to see a halt in the price falling. Hopefully this will transition into a slow and steady rise as people begin to get that this is the real deal. pCUB has a low supply and a good smattering of utility (generla DeFi, bonds coming, loans coming).

If more HIVE users are brought into the fold there is a lot of potential here. Especially for the people holding xPolyCUB :-)

Sort:

More Hive users joined with pHBD, this may increase with pHive. I think DeFi whales can join as the pools grow in the future.

I agree. I also think the choices of pools to add (pHIVE, pSPS, pRUNE etc) are good ones.

It's really smart to bring these assets to PolyCUB. There are so many Hive, SPS, Rune out there, pulling them into PolyCUB can grow the ecosystem significantly. We'll wait and see.

The pHIVE LP will really add some big TVL. It is going to really make a difference. Since it is paired with Polycub, people are going to have to buy the latter to enter the pool.

This is going to see, at a minimum, the same numbers are the pHBD pool.

Investors are already accumulating PolyCUB. This indicates that there will be more participation in the pool. PolyCUB is now closer to $0.19.

I would agree. We are seeing more interest. Listening to the AMA right now. This could become something huge.

Time will tell but there is going to be some capital rolling in.

Since there is more HIVE liquid it is likely to have even better participation (because people can get it easier). Will hopefully be good for fees. I still think the one we really need to get is pHBD though. That one really has potential to reach out into other realms and increase HIVE awareness.

HBD is a game changer. However, we need a lot of things for that to become a reality. Having the pHIVE pool can actually help the pHBD pool in that it should give people more confidence in the platform.

Right now, people see the drop in POLYCUB price and think it bad. So if we get the platform performing well, we could see something completely different.

It is a process unfortunately and we have to keep clawing aheead.

Admittedly I am not quite up to snuff on all of the HBD mechanics. However, this is what I think needs to happen:

  1. As many HBD holders as possible put 1/2 HBD in savings and wrap other half into pLEO and subsequently LP in pHBD-USDC pool on polygon. The reason I say this is because (and this is where my understanding may be subpar) I understood that more in HBD savings = more HBD printed. We need not only liquidity but more hbd minted at a given interest rate.

On second thought maybe everyone goign into the polygon pool would not be as bad as I originally thought because polyCUB will be taking some portion of all invested and putting it back into HBD savings. Still would not cause as much to be printed as if an individual just put half of their own into hbd savings.

  1. Every dApp owner on HIVE find a way to take HBD as a payment for services/membership etc.
  2. Campaigns to encourage outsiders to provide HBD liquidity. (Leo is working steadily on this)
  3. Incentives (mostly monetary but also otherwise) for people to do the above 3. For instance maybe vendors/dApp owners could give slightly better rates on any transactions they enter into for HBD vs HIVE. Small discounts for using HBD instead of HIVE for payment.

I think pHIVE-pCUB LP will not have high TVL because pCUB quantity is scarce.
I want to see pHIVE-pHBD and pHIVE-USDC as these pools will provide more pHIVE liquidity and add more value to POL.

I think pHIVE-pCUB LP will not have high TVL because pCUB quantity is scarce.

That is not a hindrance. LP are based upon USD amount. So if the PC is scarce, the USD price has to go up to me the pairing.

To put in $5K one needs $2,500 of each, regardless of how many PC that works out to.
