I've deleted the Twitter app from my phone. I only installed it for the 'spaces' thing anyway. Avoiding the bird site for a while. It's all about Hive for me with Mastodon to keep up with a few other people.

I see great potential in Threads when it is a bit more feature-complete. Need to be able to follow specific people for a start. Keep up the good work.

What's your take on it? I'll go where the people are. It's an open platform and it's not always about getting rewards.
In my head, I'd confused Getrr with Mastodon.
Looking a bit deeper, so communities run their own servers?
But they're not decentralised or incentivised to be?
Seems Mastadon could be a perfect bridge to Hive 😉
I had to look up Getrr, but it doesn't look like my kind of place. A few 'alternative' platforms have used the Mastodon code.
Mastodon is federated and I think server owners can choose which others to link to. There ought to be some common ground between their users and Hive, but they may get overloaded by all the Twitter exiles.
