It is frustrating to see lesser platforms get massively popular in a matter of weeks, although some cannot sustain it, e.g. Hive Social. It can be down to a celebrity endorsement or just something viral on reddit.
I've seen some people say Hive is not ready for huge growth, but what would need to change? We already have most of the tools for a good user experience, with Keychain playing a big part. More mobile apps would help as that is the device of choice for the majority of the potential audience.
Onboarding tens of thousands of users per day or week may present some challenges. What we don't want is masses trying to sign up and hitting problems.
