You are right about the vibe. It doesn't matter that there is no company behind Hive as the community will do things themselves. I know others have benefited a lot more than me from it. I have nothing against them taking money out if they need to pay bills. Just holding is not so interesting.
I hope the next year will be good for Hive. We have the pieces all set up and just need to get into the game.
