I took a look at some news about the cryptocurrency world and analyzed the performance of some cryptocurrencies.

1-Worldwide: The stablecoin market is increasing

The cryptocurrency market has been experiencing some bear market weeks lately. Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, BNB and Solana have lost quite a bit of capitalization. What does not seem to be affected by this bear market is the stablecoin sector. From some sources I learned that the stablecoin market has been rising for 18 months (news to be verified). Stablecoins are considered a place of refuge to be used when the markets are bearish.
Basically, stablecoins protect from the volatility of the cryptocurrency market, but they also continue to inflate their circulating supply.
Another news that I have noticed is that it seems that the total capitalization of crypto stablecoins has reached the new record of 234 billion dollars. If we go to check some graphs relating to the stablecoin market we see that they had a large increase between January 2021 and January 2022. Then the other moment in which a similar surge occurred is precisely from July 2024 to now.
Furthermore, in recent days there has also been an increase in the capitalization of the stablecoin market. According to some, cryptocurrency investors are increasingly moving capital into stablecoins and real-world tokenized assets (RWA) to avoid the volatility that will arise from the tariffs announced by the US president that will start on April 2.
Where:
Stablecoin = type of cryptocurrency designed to maintain a stable value over time, unlike other cryptocurrencies that can be very volatile. The most popular ones currently are those linked to the US dollar.

Personal conclusions

As for stablecoins, we can actually notice that their market is increasing exactly as it happened between 2021 and 2022. Perhaps this is a double signal. More and more investors are preparing to invest in the world of cryptocurrencies and probably the crypto market will still have a period of decline or weakness.

ZEC, this project is one of those oriented towards privacy. This project has not shone for a while, but in the last 7 days it has made a +18.90%. Perhaps Zcash is recovering. It is still far from its 2018 high, but the performance of the last 7 days is a good sign of vitality.

The HYPE token has made -35% in 1 month. A nice drop, but we must consider that in a year it has made +290%. Perhaps it could be a good entry point for those who have not yet entered, but I believe that it could still be early and that this token could lose some more of its value given the annual performance that has been amazing in a very short period of time.

Ho dato un’occhiata ad alcune notizie che riguardano il mondo delle criptomonete ed ho analizzato la performance di alcune crypto.

1-Mondo intero: Il mercato delle stablecoin aumenta

Ultimamente il mercato delle criptomonete sta vivendo delle settimane di mercato ribassista. Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, BNB e Solana hanno perso un bel po’ di capitalizzazione. Quello che invece sembra non essere affetto da questo mercato ribassista è il settore delle stablecoin. Da alcune fonti ho appreso che il mercato delle stablecoin è in aumento da 18 mesi (notizia da verificare). Le stablecoin sono considerate un luog di rifugio proprio da usare quando i mercati sono ribassisti.
Sostanzialmente le stablecoin proteggono dalla volatilità del mercato delle criptomonete, ma continuano anche a gonfiare la loro fornitura circolante.
Un altra notizia che ho rilevato è che sembra che la capitalizzazione totale delle crypto stablecoin abbia raggiunto il nuovo record di 234 miliardi di dollari. Se andiamo a verificare alcuni grafici relativi al mercato delle stablecoin vediamo che hanno avuto un grosso incremento tra gennaio 2021 e gennaio 2022. Poi l’altro momento in cui si è verificata un'impennata simile è proprio da luglio 2024 ad adesso.
Inoltre anche negli ultimi giorni si è registrato un innalzamento della capitalizzazione del mercato delle stablecoin. Secondo alcuni, gli investitori di criptovalute, stanno spostando sempre più capitali in stablecoin e asset tokenizzati del mondo reale (RWA) per evitare la volatilità che deriverà dai dazi indetti dal presidente degli Stati Uniti che scatteranno il 2 aprile.
Dove:
Stablecoin = tipo di criptomoneta progettata per mantenere un valore stabile nel tempo, a differenza di altre criptomonete che possono essere molto volatili. Le più conosciute attualmente sono quelle collegate al dollaro statunitense.

Conclusioni personali

Per quanto riguarda le stablecoin, possiamo effettivamente notare che il loro mercato sta aumentando esattamente come successe tra il 2021 ed il 2022. Forse questo è un doppio segnale. Sempre più investitori si preparano ad investire nel mondo delle criptomonete e probabilmente il mercato delle crypto avrà ancora un periodo di ribasso o di debolezza.

ZEC, questo progetto è uno di quelli orientati verso la privacy. E’ da un po’ che questo progetto non brillava, ma negli ultimi 7 giorni ha fatto un +18,90%. Forse Zcash si sta riprendendo. E’ ancora molto lontano dal suo massimo del 2018, ma la performance degli ultimi 7 giorni è un bel segnale di vitalità.

Il token HYPE ha fatto in 1 mese -35%. Un bel calo, ma dobbiamo considerare che in un anno ha fatto +290%. Forse potrebbe essere un buon punto di ingresso per chi ancora non è entrato, ma io ritengo che potrebbe essere ancora presto e che questo token possa perdere ancora un po’ del suo valore vista la performance annuale che è stata strabiliante in un lasso di tempo molto breve.
