Blockchain dominance highlights which blockchains are the most traded among blockchain users. The Bitcoin dominance ratio helps us determine whether altcoin trading is a stronger trend than Bitcoin trading or vice versa.
Let's take a look at blockchain dominance as of August 05, 2022
1-BTC: 40.8%
2-ETH: 18.6%
3-BNB: 4.24%
4-XRP: 1.71%
5-ADA: 1.70%
BITCOIN:
Since May 2022, bitcoin's dominance has been traveling in a side channel that encloses dominance in a range of 45% to 40%
ETHEREUM:
Since January 2019, Ethereum's dominance has been steadily increasing, rising from 9% to 18.6% today
BNB:
As for BNB, as of January 2018, its dominance was 0.18%. Since then the dominance percentage has always grown, not very fast, but the trend has always been slightly upward, and today BNB's dominance is 4.24%.
XRP
XRP in January 2018 had a dominance of 14%, since then XRP has continued to lose dominance until it dropped to 1.7% today.
*ADA/
Cardano since January 2018 has started its dominance run and along the way has had two peak points, but dominance has tended to be on the rise since 2018.
Personal Considerations
If we go to analyze Bitcoin's dominance, we see that there are ups and downs, but tendentially, we can say that since 2013, BITCOIN has started to lose dominance. The more time passes and more new blockchains are born, this is going to eat a slice of Bitcoin's dominance. As for Ethereum I am amazed, I cannot understand how a blockchain that is congested and has very high transaction fees could increase its dominance in the last two years.
As far as BNB is concerned, it really seems to me that it is slowly increasing its dominance and sooner or later it will stabilize above 5 percent and I think in a few years it might even reach 10 percent.
Very interesting is the race there is between Ripple and Ada which have practically similar dominance, who knows if sooner or later one of the two projects will prevail over the other.
Conclusions
In mid-June BTC had a dominance of 48.5%, today it has dropped to 40.8%, while ETH's dominance has risen from 15% to 18.6%. BNB's dominance has also risen compared to the June figure, it was at 3.86% while it is now at 4.24%. In summary, compared to June, the dominance of BTC went down while the dominance of ETH and BNB went up.
Question

La dominanza delle blockchain mette in luce quali sono le blockchain più tradate tra gli utenti blockchain. Il rapporto di dominanza Bitcoin ci aiuta a determinare se il trading di altcoin è una tendenza più forte rispetto al trading di Bitcoin o viceversa.
Andiamo a dare un’occhiata alla dominanza delle blockchain al 05 agosto 2022
1-BTC: 40.8%
2-ETH: 18.6%
3-BNB: 4,24%
4-XRP: 1,71%
5-ADA: 1,70%
BITCOIN:
Da maggio 2022 la dominanza di bitcoin viaggia in un canale laterale che racchiude la dominanza in un range che va dal 45% al 40%
ETHEREUM:
Da gennaio 2019 la dominanza di Ethereum è sempre cresciuta, passando dal 9% al 18,6% di oggi
BNB:
Per quanto riguarda BNB, a gennaio 2018 la sua dominanza era del 0,18%. Da allora la percentuale di dominanza è sempre cresciuta, non molto velocemente, ma la tendenza è sempre stata leggermente al rialzo, ed oggi la dominanza di BNB è del 4,24%.
XRP
XRP a gennaio 2018 aveva una dominanza del 14%, da quel momento XRP ha continuato a perdere dominanza fino a scendere all’1,7% di oggi.
*ADA/
Cardano da gennaio 2018 ha iniziato la sua corsa per la dominanza e lungo il percorso ha avuto due punti di picco, ma tendenzialmente la dominanza è in rialzo dal 2018.
Considerazioni personali
Se andiamo ad analizzare la dominanza di Bitcoin, vediamo che ci sono alti e bassi, ma tendenzialmente, possiamo dire che dal 2013, BITCOIN ha iniziato a perdere la dominanza. Più passa il tempo e più blockchain nuove nascono, questo va a mangiare una fetta della dominanza di Bitcoin. Per quanto riguarda Ethereum io sono stupito, non riesco a capire come una blockchain congestionata e con tasse di transazione altissime abbia potuto aumentare la sua dominanza in questi ultimi due anni.
Per quanto riguarda BNB mi sembra proprio che piano piano stia aumentando la sua dominanza e che prima o poi di stabilizzerà sopra al 5% e credo che tra qualche anno potrebbe anche arrivare al 10%.
Molto interessante la corsa che c’è tra Ripple e Ada che hanno praticamente una dominanza simile, chissà se prima o poi uno dei due progetti prevarrà sull’altro.
Conclusioni
A metà giugno BTC aveva una dominanza di 48,5%, oggi è scesa a 40,8%, mentre la dominanza di ETH è salita dal 15% al 18,6%. Anche la dominanza di BNB è salita rispetto al dato di giugno, si trovava al 3,86% mentre ora è al 4,24%. Riassumendo, rispetto a giugno, la dominanza di BTC è scesa, mentre sono salite quelle di ETH e BNB.

Cosa ne pensate della dominanza di Bitcoin? Tornerà all’85% come nel 2017 o non vedremo mai più questa percentuale?

Thanks for stopping by and reblogged. If we analyze the dominance of Bitcoin from 2013 onwards we see that it has always tended to decline slightly. New cryptocurrencies will come out and new future projects will come out. These will go to erode the Bitcoin market somewhat. This in my opinion

BTC Is the undisputed King
It is true what you wrote but going to analyze the whole crypto coin sector since 2013, its dominance is constantly decreasing. it is certainly not a decline by much, but Bitcoin is slowly losing its dominance against other crypto coins

Questo mercato è una montagna russa di emozioni, un giorno ci svegliamo milionari e nelle prossime tre ore torniamo al nostro stato economico, ma ci ci abituiamo, il BTC aumenterà senza dubbio il suo prezzo
Essendo il mercato ciclico è possibile che torni sopra il 50% però la sua discesa credo sia fisiologica ed indica una maturità del mercato globale crypto. Bitcoin oramai non è una moneta funzionale come si pensava ancora nel 2018. E' un asset di tipo speculativo, di certo solo il branding vale cifre improbabili, ma sul piano di una futura fruibilità, tipo pagare il caffè al bar, ci sono soluzioni migliori.
La penso esattamente come te. La sua dominanza è destinata a calare per lasciate spazio ad altre blockchain più performanti per l’uso quitidiano
